Events for 2012
The Oliver Curd Trust hosts many events throughout the year to raise funds, raise awareness and to have fun. Please see below a summary of our main events in 2012 which will be updated with more details very soon.

Sunday 25th March – Hastings Half Marathon. Join our friendly team of walkers and runners to help raise money and awareness. All OCT runners will receive a T Shirt for the event, a goody bag upon completion and an invite to the Pre Pasta meal on Saturday 24th March. Thursday 24th and Friday 25th May - Be A Wally for Oli Day – now in its third year. Due to popular demand with local schools and to help fit in around timetables this event will be held this year over two days. A local event for primary schools and businesses to take part, by being a Wally for a day. All schools will have the opportunity to take part in our balloon race of which the Oliver Curd Trust balloons are sold for £1.00 in advance of the day with the lucky winner of the furthest balloon travelled wining a £25 voucher. Dillon will also make an appearance at every school during their day to help the children release the balloons.
Sunday April 22nd – The Virgin London Marathon - We are delighted to announce that Steve Ayling from West Peckham in Kent has taken up the challenge & accepted our Virgin London Marathon 2012 Bond place. Steve has run the Hastings half marathon 3 times for the Trust, but this is Steve’s 1st and last Full Marathon he said! Please give him your support and help him raise the £5,000 he has set himself. Monday 27th August - The Oliver Curd Trust v Rye - Annual Cricket tournament
September – date to be confirmed of the Parcelforce World Wide v Royal Mail Sales teams in the Oliver Curd annual Ryder Cup golf challenge.
October 6th - Annual Fundraiser's Casino Ball & Auction. Due to the success of our ball in 2011 next years event once again will be held at the Hilton Metropole in Brighton. More details on ticket prices and the event will follow shortly but we hope to be able to retain the price similar to that of the last four years of £50 - this will be confirmed in the new year. To reserve a table/tickets in advance please email us.
